Lost in London

A Nigerian from the South Eastern part of the country traveled to London for the first time.

In London, he was at Oxford Circus looking lost and dejected so a white man offered to help him out.

Here is the conversation that took place between them.

White Man: Hi there, I can see you look lost, do you need help?
Nigerian Man: Yges O, My brother Ojyibo, I de ko St. Yohn's Wood.

White Man: Pardon me?
Nigerian Man: I say I de ko St. Yohn's Wood.

White Man: Can you spell it please?
Nigerian Man: Yges O, S-T J-O-H-N-S W-O-O-D.

White Man: Oh, you mean St. John's Wood?
Nigerian Man: Yges that's it.

White Man: Ok I see. You're almost there. Go straight on to the next stop, take a right, and a left, and another right and you're there.
Nigerian Man: Thank you Ojyibo.

White Man: So where are you from my friend?
Nigerian Man: I come from Eket, in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. I come on course for Oyil Companiy.

White Man: That's so cool. So what's your name?
Nigerian Man: My name na Yohn Yohnson.

White Man: Can you spell it?
Nigerian Man: Abba Ojyibo, J-O-H-N J-O-H-N-S-O-N.

White Man: Oh I see, you mean John Johnson?
Nigerian Man: Yges O.

White Man: So how long are you out here for?
Nigerian Man: I de here till Yune.

White Man: Pardon?
Nigerian Man: Ojyibo, I say till Yune. If I don ko back in Yune, I ko in Yuly!

White man: Sorry! Nice talking to you mister.
