Ideas are the best thing
That ever happened
To man;
They made him king
Over the universe and
Master
Of his own destiny.
They graduated him from
The naked primate of yesterday
To the fine-clothed gent
Of our present day;
From the raw-eater in
Thorn bushes
To the elegant diner
In glamorous edifices;
The stumper of barren lands
To the traveler in
Space and time;
From perches in bush trees and caves
To a residua of elevated buildings;
From the sheep in the desert
To the star in the city lights
Ideas made man
A strong contender with
Nature
It built for man his
Tower of Bethel.
Ideas made the pauper, prince
The beggar, begged
The follower, leader
And the son, the father.
Ideas work like magic
Like fertilizers, they make delicate flowers
To flourish
And natured plants to yield forth
Good fruits
And in thousand folds
They must therefore
Never be ignored. |
